IntellEx

intellEx is a digital Ex management system developed by EXS Synergy, an IECEx Certified Service Facility for Ex Inspection and Maintenance. The system consists of:


1. intellEx Manager, a web application
2. intellEx Operator, a mobile application.


Both enable users at remote sites to work on hand-held devices, and users in offices to process the data. The system was meant to replace the pen-and-paper method used in performing Ex inspection and maintenance work. It is designed to ensure a consistent reporting method which will allow for data analysis meant to assist asset owners and operators make informed decisions on their maintenance plan.


The system includes a module to enable the application of RBI, which is a Risk-Based Inspection method for Ex equipment, ensuring inspections are done in accordance with their risk profile while maintaining full compliance to IEC standards on inspection frequency. This leads to a tremendous improvement in maintenance schedule and overall O&M cost.
