Feeling stressed, frustrated, overwhelmed? Try some breathing exercise to transform your mental/emotional state fast!

Just Breathe! App is designed to help people learn different breathing techniques. It contains four easy exercises to energize and rejuvenate your body and mind.

1. Deep long breathing, relax! – inhale deeply through the nose, exhale through the nose. As you inhale let your belly fill up with air, your chest and your upper chest. As you exhale relax your upper chest, chest and your belly.
Benefits: Brings peace, calm and mental clarity.
Caution: If you start to get dizzy, stop and breathe normally.

2. Reduce anxiety, feel safe! - inhale deeply through the nose, hold your breath in, exhale through the nose.
Benefits: It helps to reduce tension, fear and anxiety.
Caution: If you start to get dizzy, stop and breathe normally.

3. Release stress fast! – inhale trough the nose, exhale through your mouth in 8 strokes. With each exhale pull your belly in.
Benefits: Releases stress, frustration. Increases lungs capacity. Strengthens abdominal muscles. Brings back emotional balance.
Caution: Don’t practice this exercise if you are pregnant, menstruating, have high blood pressure or a mental disease. If you start to get dizzy, stop and breathe long and deep.

4. Increase strength and stamina! – Exhale powerfully through your nose in steady rhythm. Let the inhale happen naturally after every strong exhale.
Benefits: Increases lungs capacity, brings a lot of oxygen to the body. Strengthens abdominal muscles. Helps to change mood quickly. Increases secretion of feeling good hormones (endorphins).
Caution: Don’t practice this exercise if you are pregnant, menstruating, have high blood pressure or a mental disease. If you start to get dizzy, stop and breathe long and deep.

If you are a beginner, start with just 30sec of practice. As your body adjusts to the new oxygen levels, you can progress to longer exercises. Please refer to our disclaimer for the guidance and issues about breathing exercises. Have a safe, healthy life and just breathe!
