Members of Congress are planning changes to Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act that may take away health insurance from as many as 30 million Americans. #KeepAmericaCovered is a grassroots campaign to tell Congress how much Americans rely on good health coverage.

With the KeepAmericaCovered app, you can share stories of what health coverage has meant for you and your friends, family, patients, and coworkers. Perhaps your grandmother fought off breast cancer thanks to her health benefits from Medicare. Or maybe your friend kept his diabetes in check with blood sugar tests covered by the Affordable Care Act.

Use the app to take a photo with the KeepAmericaCovered banner, write a few words about your story, and share on social media. If you are sharing a story about someone’s personal health, remember to get their permission and protect their confidentiality by leaving out details that could identify them.
