Neuracount: Object Counter

This App counts similar objects from images automatically. The app supports three counters:

- Generic objects
- People
- Vehicles

The counter uses Deep Learning Models to detect the objects from the images and get detailed results with number of objects, categories and confidences.

The custom object counter allows you to select the object from the image itself. You can use any object, for example, pills, food or bottles. There are some considerations that you must take into account in order to get the best performance from the detector:

- Separate objects so they do not touch.
- Use proper lighting conditions, avoiding shadows and reflections.
- Use the camera phone or images with a good resolution.
- Adjust image size to cover the area of objects.
- After obtaining the results, you can modify the minimum confidence in order to add or remove more detections depending on the results.
- Manually remove detections that you do not want.

The people counter is used to count people from images. It returns persons and heads at the same time. The number of persons and heads can be different due to visibilities and occlusions.

The vehicle counter is used to count vehicles from images. There are 21 vehicle types supported:
