Number Flash

Helps children transition from counting to number understanding.

A ten frame with dots flashes on the screen (you can choose the number of seconds it appears on the screen).
Then the ten frame disappears.
Children need to choose the number of dots they saw in the ten frame.
They can’t count because the picture has disappeared.
This coaxes them to think of a number of objects in relation to five and ten.
This helps children to use strategies to learn basic facts.
