Pollen - Local, Anonymous

Pollen offers a fun, innovative way to connect with those around you. We created a feature rich platform that combines locality with optional anonymity, so that users can connect with friends one moment and engage without judgement the next moment.

Rooms
Allow you to manage dynamic local group chats with friends or people in your area. The creator of a room can decide the group's options like whether anonymous users are allowed to participate in the group chat and the radius of the chat. There are numerous useful features including a dedicated admin channel, the ability to search message history, and the ability to appoint other admins.

Feed
The feed offers optional anonymity, which means that you can choose whether you want to post with a username. The feed is image enabled, and it is filtered by location: you can pick whether you want to see posts from the world, your city, or your immediate local area. Comments are indexed by a small dot with a number to ensure that Anonymous commenters do not reply to themselves. Lastly, each post has the option to flag, save, or share; this menu can be seen by holding a post.

Messaging
Pollen's private messaging can facilitate group chats, private chats, and anonymous chats. There are various useful features like the admin channel and the ability to search messages. You can also customize each conversation's color, and your own text color. Lastly, you can control whether or not you are open to messages from anonymous users, and you can block any user you choose.

Profile
You can choose what you want to be seen from your profile on the modify profile page; this allows you to retain privacy without losing the opportunity to create a network with your friends.
