The total amount of bat loft at and around the contact point is very complex. As hitters react to pitch location - early on inside pitches and later on outside pitches, there is a significant impact on total bat loft that needs to be considered. The best hitters are adjusting to this "Implicit Loft" in order to keep the total bat loft consistent. Manipulating the 3D graphic in the app makes this complex relationship between Implicit, Explicit, and Total Loft very easy to understand.

The Quant Tee app and device are based on years of data and hard evidence of what the best hitters are actually doing. Even among professional hitters, those who hit the ball more square (less backspin) and have more consistent launch angles outperform everyone else.

It’s time to ditch hitting “philosophies” and rely on mechanics supported by hard evidence!
