App Store Description

DISCLAIMER: Please don’t mistake us!
Radial is not meant to replace the standard iPad keyboard, since it cannot be used outside of the app itself. Apple sadly restricts this function, so Radial just aims to complement what’s already on your iPad.

Radial 2 - A whole new take on thumb typing

True on-the-go typing.
Radial is an innovative custom keyboard app for the iPad. Built specifically for use with only your two thumbs, Radial allows you to type on your iPad in a whole new way.

iPhone-esque thumb typing.
If you’re the kind of user who holds his/her iPad upright with both palms in the horizontal orientation, you’ll definitely recognize how difficult it is to reach the center alphabets on the standard keyboard. Radial was created to help you with that.

Auto-copying. Saves you that extra button tap.
Apple doesn’t allow us to give you Radial in your other apps. However, we have incorporated an auto-copy function that copies the text you have written upon switching to another application, so all you need to do is to paste the text in the desired app after typing it in Radial.

Convenient in-app functions.
Radial 2 boasts a brand new redesigned interface, with a centralized home screen. This one-of-a-kind design lets you select the utility you need to type in. These include Email, a Search Engine, Facebook, Twitter, and more to come.

Autocorrect. Say goodbye to “teh”.
We have included Autocorrect in Radial 2 to increase your typing accuracy and minimize mistyped words. Apple doesn’t give developers access to the standard iOS autocorrect system, so we cooked up our own version. Note: YMMV!

Keyboard typing sounds. Add a click to your tap.
Due to popular demand, we have also added audial feedback in the form of “clicking” or “typing” sounds to let you know that your thumbs did indeed hit the keys. Don’t worry though, this can be turned off for the non-proponents of the “clicks”!

Typing Aid. See what you’re typing, BIG.
On top of these new features, we have also added a new feature called “Typing Aid”: a large heads-up-display shown in the middle of the screen, displaying the alphabet typed. This allows you to focus your eyes on the center of the screen and observe the text being typed.

Customize your Radial experience.
These new features in Radial 2 are here to improve your typing accuracy and further your radial experience. Don’t like any of these features? Sure thing: just turn them off in the new settings view in Radial 2.

A brand new concept. Much more to come.
Like any new concept, Radial will appear very foreign at first. However, with sufficient usage, your brain will naturally be trained to use this split keyboard, and typing will be more efficient than ever! With Radial, you will now be able to type on your iPad on-the-go!

And of course, we are always improving!
Radial is continually improving in its logic and smoothness. Check back for future updates that make it that much better as a keyboard for your iPad!

“One of those innovative things that the app store seems to sometimes lose these days, among it’s [sic] hundreds of thousands of apps. The idea is brilliant”
