Payment entry has been thoughtfully designed to be as clear and simple as possible. Data fields are written in-line in a self descriptive manner and creating flexible recurring payment schedules is simply first class. Forecast future payments by "saving ahead" for them, and funds will be rationed appropriately so you can put your mind at ease.

ENVELOPES
Envelopes fall into two separate use cases: saving for large or unplanned purchase items with "custom envelopes" (rainy day funds,vacations, down-payments), as well as saving for future payments with "managed envelopes" (which are automatically managed for you). You can schedule repeat contributions every month, and envelopes are easily assessible in the calendar for any month.

RATIONING
Financial planning in Ration is very unique and is based on the idea that, at any time, you are managing:
- funds rationed for this month
- funds rationed for upcoming months
- funds carried over from previous months
Using this method, planning for multiple months into the future becomes much easier and much more predicatable. The ration graph screen is gorgeously displayed with interative and animated pie charts.
