Sarah Tse is a New York based Chinese artist, with a unique visual language of pencil and paint over unconventional surfaces. Animals, antique machines and narrative tropes from folk tales and myths are thematic signposts of her signature, drawing an array of paradoxical images that evoke a fragile, nostalgic and disturbing atmosphere.
