App Store Description

SAVE ME – Saving animals!

A cooperative social application for reporting about animals that are alone, lost, abused, or in any kind of distress. By simply photographic the animal, you can report to all users in the area that there is an animal in distress that needs help. Simply take the picture, choose the type of animal, and report. You can post a notice about an animal in distress, including the type of distress you identify, and anyone within a range of 50 kilometers will receive the report that an animal is in distress in the area where that person is.

When a user of the application chooses to report, post a picture of an animal and choose the type of animal or type of abuse, an awareness bubble is created on the map around the place where the picture was taken.

After that, anyone within the area who has the application receives an alert about an animal in distress.

When the alert is pressed, the application opens and displays the notice, which includes a picture, description and verbal details if there are any.

In addition, the notice page will include a “share” button, so that you can share the notice with the picture on any social network or with friends.

There is also a “Go there” button that, when pushed, will navigate you to the place where the animal is.

Whenever the application is started, you will be shown a map with your location and the bubbles (notices, reports) of animals in distress that have been posted by other users. By pressing on each of the notices, a window will open where you can see a picture of the animal in the report, sorted by type, and a verbal description of the case written by the person who posted the notice. The notices on the map are brown, other than notices regarding intentional abuse of animals, which will be red.

The notices on the map relate to all types of animals recently posted. You can sort the notices appearing on the map by type of animal (dog, cat, bird, wild animals, other, abuse of animals) and by the time the notice or report was posted.

Immediately upon launching the application, you will be able to see on the map the most recent notices received in your area and to quickly identify what animal is involved, where it is located and whether it is a case of abuse.

Have you lost a dog? SAVE ME also gives you easy access to the picture gallery page, which shows pictures of animals that have been reported in your area during the past 48 hours. Refreshing the page will call up different pictures each time from new notices that have been posted, so that you will be able to quickly identify your pet. Clicking on the picture will display the notice that was posted, when a user reports on an animal, how to share, and directions (navigation) to get to the animal.

In addition, if the animal is a rare animal or a wild animal that you have seen during a hike in nature, we would be pleased if you photograph it and post a notice so that other animal lovers will be able to see what you have photographed.

We invite all animal lovers to join us, and together we can serve as millions of eyes protecting our small friends everywhere in the world. We will be a safety net against those who choose to cruelly abuse animals. We will be a community that is not blind to the pain of those who cannot speak. Download the application. Be partners, now!
