Metamodern Sustainability is an Augmented Reality (AR) diorama. Participants who download the game icon and app will interact with a low poly snapshot of a metamodern sustainable environment through the use of their personal digital device.

With SHINEorama you can share your AR experience with multiple people at the same location. The multiuser experience is based on a shared surface with a shared image (game icon). Please stand near the shared surface and point devices in the direction of the game icon. The AR environment will continue to appear as long as the game icon remains within the device’s camera view.

SHINEorama is designed to facilitate a shared experience of augmentation within a physical community environment. This educational diorama introduces concepts of enhanced livability, prosperity, and environmental responsibility.

- Allow camera access for Augmented Reality (AR) experience
- Turn on device audio
- View game icon through device camera
- Tap screen to interact with select game objects

EXPLORE THE LAND:

- A moose, a deer, and bears, OH MY! Turn on device audio and interact with the animals.
- Water conservation, solar power, and wind turbines. Tap select game objects to learn more.
- Collect all three tokens to learn more about product recycling, food deserts, and saving the pollinators!

Augmented reality (AR) technology, delivers immersive, engaging experiences that seamlessly blend virtual objects with the real world. In AR apps, the device’s camera presents a live, onscreen view of the physical world. Three-dimensional virtual objects are superimposed over this view, creating the illusion that they actually exist. The user can reorient their device to explore the objects from different angles and interact with objects using gestures and movement.
