Smart Recycling Spot Pro

The Smart Recycling Spot Pro (SRS Pro) is an innovative initiative aimed at enhancing recycling, using Smart Systems, encouraging citizens to actively participate in environmental protection. Citizens can visit one of the smart recycling points installed in their municipality and, using the management console available, to weigh their recyclable materials on-site and place them in the appropriate bins. For every kilogram of recyclable material, they earn reward points in their account, which they can redeem for offers from participating businesses.
As part of the Smart Recycling Spot Pro program, citizens who participate in recycling and achieve specific goals can directly contribute to the creation of a "Green Neighborhood."

For each recycling target met across the municipality, the program organizes tree plantings in public spaces such as parks, squares, schools, etc. This process strengthens the sense of shared responsibility and collective effort to create a greener and healthier urban environment.

Through the Smart Recycling Spot (SRS) application, citizens:
1. They create an account.
2. They identify themselves to the management console by scanning the QR it has.
3. Locate the nearest smart recycling points in their respective Municipality (with access to an interactive map).
4. They are informed about a) the types of materials that can be recycled per point (smart recycling spot) b) the percentage of fullness of the bins at each point c) the benefits of recycling for the environment.
5. They are informed of the available reward points they have accumulated in their account from recycling.
6. Redeem reward points with offers from businesses participating in the program.
7. They receive notifications from the application about movements in their account, as well as updates of the program.
