"Sonic Samurai" is a game made for the Bose Frames and new Bose Headphones using their new SDK. The game challenges players to use their ears, and hear enemies from 360 degrees all around them. Players must time their attacks using their phone as a sword to swing, duck or block. Face Ninja's and other Yokia with magical powers! Fight "blind mode" and turn off the radar for 2X points!

Starting Up
Players begin by selecting Adventure Mode using on-screen buttons.
Players are guided through calibration and connection using on screen prompts (non-audio).
Once calibrated an on screen prompt directs players to swing their phone like a sword.
When they do so they hear the sound of a sword being drawn and the ambient sound of the first battlefield begins to play.

First Level: Basics
“Momoku Ryu” the spirit in the player’s talking sword talks players through the basics of listening for enemies, turning to face them, and then striking them by swinging.
Players practice against two enemies while being guided.
Players must then survive one minute of attacks by monsters coming at them from all sides, one at a time. Monsters spawn randomly, one at a time, making a noise when they arrive and then emitting footsteps (or their equivalent) as they approach the player so that players can locate them and turn to face them. They make a final warning shout before attacking,
if players do not block, duck, or kill their opponent before this happens they are hurt.
At the end of 60 seconds players proceed to the next stage.

Second Level: Ducking
Momoku Ryu tells players how to duck by bending and looking down, and talks them through fighting Ninjas, who throw a throwing star that players must duck, and Kappa, who are invincible until a player ducks one of their attacks.
Players again fight randomly spawning monsters that now include ninjas and kappas. If they last 60 seconds they proceed to the next stage after a pause.

Third Level: Blocking
Momoku Ryu teaches players how to block by tapping and holding their phone screen, and talks them through fighting Tengu, who cannot be hurt until they have been blocked.

Fourth Level: Final Test
Momoku Ryu sends players off to their final battle.
Players must fight all 6 randomly spawning monsters and survive 90 seconds. If they do they unlock Ronin Mode.

Ronin Mode:
Players cannot use their radar/map to locate enemies and must survive 90 seconds. Scores are doubled.
