The Cloud Amsterdam

The Cloud, a redeveloped 24,000 m2 office building for companies that are constantly looking for rare good people from anywhere in the world. Transparency, flexibility and a high degree of social interaction between all users are optimally expressed in The Cloud. The former courtyard garden has therefore been transformed into a lively atrium where people find space to meet.

If you look carefully behind the distant and closed shell, you will find the architecture of a characteristic structuralism and the surprising oasis of a courtyard. The structure is visible, the building opens up to its surroundings, is accessible and inviting. The central park atrium can be felt everywhere and forms the vibrant heart of the office community. The large floors of the square office are opened up to the atrium in quadrants, and open staircases connect and reinforce the spatial experience.
