TITO DIGITALE is an APP for the cultural enhancement of the city of Tito and the Satriano Tower Archaeological Site. The APP, which can be activated in GPS and non-GPS modes, consists of two main sections: Treasure Hunt and Archaeology.
The Treasure Hunt is a playful experience with educational purposes that taps into the user's curiosity and participation to foster learning. Through a map of the city, the user is guided to discover the main historical-artistic and architectural points of interest in the City of Tito. The illustrious character Sodegerio of Tito, an important official in the service of Frederick II, accompanies the player in solving puzzles and mini-games. The final prize is a ticket to pass through the Door of Time: the user will head to the entrance of the Tower of Satriano and will be projected into an exciting journey in the Cathedral built in the Norman age (late 11th century) and reproduced in 3D in its original splendour, where he will be able to immerse himself, thanks to Virtual Reality, in scenes from the past, listening to the evocative stories told by the Lord of Satrianum, Muzio Attendolo Sforza, and interacting with carefully reconstructed objects and spaces.
The Archaeology section, on the other hand, is a journey map for discovering the main points of interest of the Satriano Tower Archaeological Site in Tito starting from a historical timeline of reference, through which the user is free to explore the surrounding area and access the available graphic content (photos, 3D reconstructions, CG and drone videos), as well as in-depth historical and cultural information.
