The idea behind travellingdollar is quite simple. If you live of have been visiting any of the States or Countries that use the Dollar, you probably have wondered how old is that bill, or where has it been before, where was it issued. This it is not so easily noticeable. Dollar notes' serial numbers have a combinations of numbers and letters denoting which Federal Reserve issued them )there are 12 in the US). Apart from that, it is not possible to determine the note's origin by simply looking at it. If being in Colorado, for instance, we use a bill printed in the Chicago we can have a good idea of the journey that bill has made. But, where else has it been?, what have people purchased with it? how did it make to Nevada-by plane, car etc....? this is the kind of question that we have posed and pretend to answer with this humble project.
