Keep track where your Yuan notes have been before and for what they have been used.
The idea behind travellingyuan is quite simple. If you live of have been visiting any of the States or Countries that have Yuan as their currency, you probably have wondered how old that bill is, or where has it been before, where was it issued. This it is not so easily noticeable. Notes' serial numbers have a combinations of numbers and letters denoting which National Bank issued them (there are 5 in the China). Apart from that, it is not possible to determine the note's origin by simply looking at it. If being in Beijing, for instance, we use a bill printed in Shangai, we can have a good idea of the journey that bill has made. But, where else has it been?, what have people purchased with it? how did it make to Shenzhen-by plane, car etc....? this is the kind of question that we have posed and pretend to answer with this humble project.
