Walalang is the first photo-sharing and messaging app with a Philippine flavor.
It is locally-aware and sensitive to the cultural norms and idiosyncrasies of the Philippines to better serve, adapt, and more importantly, recognize local preferences or tendencies and culture.
We also hope to uplift and promote more local brands through this platform which in turn, better serve the local economy and consumers.
The Philippines is one of the most, if not the most active country on social networks so Walalang aims to be a desired flavor and more relevant service for the Filipino taste buds.
However, it is not restricted to the Filipino audience. In the true spirit of “bayanihan” or communal unity which is an integral and hallmark part of Filipino culture worldwide, we welcome all users from anywhere in the world with open arms and gladness to also experience more of our culture!
