Welcome Portugal

Welcome Guides project was created in November 2011 and it was officially deployed in February 2012 in a small region of Portugal.

We first used the universal AR browsers Layar, Junaio and Wikitude to introduce people in Portugal with Augmented Reality technology and concepts.

Over the past two years we have made actions of awareness in Portuguese territory and became developers and partners of major AR companies and solutions.

We became expertize in Augmented Reality projects and Welcome Guides has become a national reference as innovative Tourism tool for visitors.

Besides Tourism, Welcome Guides is being used by local citizens as we started to introduce contents and Points of Interest other than normal travel poi’s.

Welcome Guides has capabilities for tourism sector but also for cities, marketing and culture.

We can use Augmented Reality to describe places, gaming experiences, couponing, attractive and innovative business directories, tridimensional for future or past buildings/events.
