TRAVEL GAME
Presented with a random image from our expansive database, you must decide the correct answer from three options for each category: country, region/town, and landmark name. Challenge your geographical knowledge and learn about the world as you play!

WELL OVER 20,000 IMAGES
The images are randomly selected based on the travel region and difficulty settings you choose. Each image is carefully sourced from a variety of stock photo providers to showcase both well-known and lesser-known landscapes and landmarks from around the globe. Currently, the app features over 20,000 images, with an additional 1,500 to 2,000 images added monthly.

5 LEVELS OF DIFFICULTY
Next to the correct answer and the 2 incorrect answers for country, region and name, each image is categorized in easy, medium or difficult to guess depending on the image and the answers. Based on this, you can choose from 5 levels of difficulty:
1 - easy,
2 - easy + medium
3 - easy + medium + difficult
4 - medium + difficult
5 - difficult

9 TRAVEL REGIONS SETTINGS
There are 9 travel regions settings to choose from. To keep the game from being too easy, either the correct answer or at least one of the incorrect answers will be from the selected region.
The regions are:
Worldwide
North America
Europe
Asia
North America and Europe
Europe and Asia
North and South America
Europe and Africa
Asia and Australia

9 TIMER SETTINGS
The answers must be provided within a specific timeframe. The default timer is set at 20 seconds, but if you want a bigger challenge, you can set it at 10 or 15 seconds. Alternatively, if you prefer to travel slow to have a good look at each image and take your time to choose your answers, you can set the timer at 30, 60, 120, 180, 300 and 600 seconds.

COMPETE
Currently, you can compete by each playing a set number of 50 images at an agreed travel region, level and time setting and then comparing your scores. Although you won't be playing the same images, they are chosen completely at random, ensuring that everyone has an equal chance!
I'm still working on a feature that lets you compete with friends, playing the same set of images. Another idea is a worldwide competition showing the top 10 scores for the different levels, as well as your own ranking. Once there are enough players, I could also display rankings by continent or country.

ADS
I dislike intrusive ads as much as you do, but I also want to keep this app free to use for everyone. To cover costs and continue improving the app, I rely on ads, but I’ve made them as minimal as possible and avoided the intrusive ones that block the screen.

ME
My name is Jan Veenstra and I live in the Netherlands. I was working as a freelance translator, but last year - just three years before my retirement - I lost 90% of my income due to AI. That's what led me to try building an app, something I'd never done before. Because I love traveling, the idea for this travel app soon followed.
My aim is to keep the app free for all with a minimum amount of advertisement. You can help make this possible by sharing the app with your social media contacts or give it a good rating.
