What is it about?
X–Y–Z enables user to scan and annotate text pages with ease. While pages are stored locally on your device, annotations are shared whenever another user scans and annotates the same page. For individual projects, annotations can remain private. To facilitate synchronization of annotations, X–Y–Z stores hashed metadata on a server. This ensures that shared annotations are accurately repositioned and similar page scans are recognized. X–Y–Z is not a replacement for the book but rather an enhancement, adding a digital dimension to complement the physical experience. X–Y–Z won't collect any scanned images, only hashed metadata.
