You Art
What is it about?
YOU ART is a project that was born during the long and lonely days of the first lockdown of 2020, as a creative reaction to isolation. What we needed was some color, something that could allow us to spend some fun time on social media, but in an intelligent and constructive way. Only Art in all its forms could help us achieve that goal since it is the only thing capable of taking us beyond the imprisonment of the mind.

Those who came to our aid, were the great artists of contemporary art who in the 1900s managed to change forever our way of observing and seeing the world; thanks to augmented reality, their works began to color our faces, offering everyone the opportunity to transform themselves into a work of art.
YOU ART – born therefore as a series of AR filters – has now become an App that collects many of those splendid filters, built by drawing a texture from the pictorial work of chosen artists from Impressionism to the art movements of the last years of' 900.
Each filter is accompanied by a short but precious text, which tells the life, style, and work of each artist, thus also spreading the knowledge of the great protagonists of international painting. This is a whole new way to discover art while having fun and sharing an artist's selfie with the audience of social media.
YOU ART wants to bring the great contemporary painting closer to those who know nothing about Art, who, thanks to these filters, can re-shape their appearance and identify themselves with the artist and his/her work in a more intimate and original way. Body painting, in fact, transforms not only the face but also the identity of who is “wearing” it, by redefining the selfie experience and bringing it to a level of originality that has not yet been explored.
