I am certain some of you have already marked the date on your calendar, but for those of you who are unaware, AT&T will be enabling MMS for all iPhone 3G and 3GS users on September 25th. Some iPhone users, however, are reporting that MMS is already enabled on their devices without any jailbreaking or hacking.
The reports have been widespread, ranging from all kinds of users in all reaches of the country, so there is no sure way of telling if MMS is enabled on your device without simply checking. To see if your device is already MMS enabled, go into Settings > General > Network. Within the Network menu, if there is a Cellular Data Network menu, you can start sending MMS. Another surefire way to find out if MMS is enabled is to simply go into the Messages app and look for a camera icon. If it's there, you are also good to go.
If you find yourself MMS-less at this point, just hang in there, the 25th isn't that far out.
Any AppAdvice readers out there have MMS enabled yet? If so, feel free to let us know by rubbing it in in the comments section below.
