Real Deer Hunting and Green Fingers are both available for free today as part of two separate promotions, one being FreeAppADay and the other being AppEvent, a lesser-known site intended to help promote Dutch and Belgium app developers. Real Deer Hunting ($.99 -> Free): Developed by the same group the basically founded the hunting game genre with Deer Hunter. The game features 18 different hunting stands located in Texas and Indiana, realistic animal AI, realistic weather conditions, a wide variety of weapons, and a trophy room that you can share with friends via email. Green Fingers ($.99 -> Free): This is actually your second opportunity to pick up Green Fingers for free, as it was once a part of last year's Appvent Calendar promotion. Green Fingers is a garden-themed puzzle game that requires you to swap flower pots near the bottom of the screen in order to match them with the corresponding items falling from the top. The gameplay sounds simple, but the pace picks up rather quickly. The game features online leader boards, achievements, and Facebook and Twitter integration via OpenFeint. We also have an in-depth review available for Green Fingers if you would like to learn more. Both games are available for free today only.
