If you're looking for a top table at a top restaurant near you then you're in luck. Europe's leading online dining community and restaurant reservation service
www.toptable.com has just released a native app for the iPhone.
Toptable allows you to search for restaurants nearby, read reviews and make reservations. You may be asking what makes this app different to the others in the app store? Well, to be honest, at first glance, in terms of the general functionality, not much. But if you delve a little deeper into the application, it is far less Americanised than other apps such as
urbanspoon or
opentable and will certainly appeal to some Europeans. Particularly considering the app is also available in French and German.
Furthermore, TopTable contains a number of additional features such as the inclusion of "special offer vouchers" for selected restaurants, up to 50% off in some cases, as well as an impressive augmented reality mode called "Table Reality" (3GS Only).
Lastly, you will most certainly appreciate the "My Sommelier" feature, which allows you to match your wine with your meal in 2 or 3 simple clicks.
