Size Does Matter: Image Hunt Apps updated to iPad

The most obvious difference between the iPad and the iPhone/iPod Touch is, of course, the size. With all that screen real estate, many apps and uses are going to benefit: RTS games, FPS games, movies, maps, etc. One often overlooked corner of the App Store is the "I-Spy" type game. With the higher resolution and screen size of the iPad, these game are going to get a real boost.

Two have already been approved and announced by their developers, Stone of Destiny and Cassandra's Journey: the Legacy of Nostradamus. Both have extremely well-received iPhone versions, though only Cassandra's Journey has a lite version you can try for free.

If you are not familiar with Find the Item games, you hunt through an image crowded with tons and tons of stuff, searching for certain, cleverly hidden things. Kinda like Where's Waldo on steroids while simultaneously having to search for Jimmy, Pete, Yu, Jane, Simon, and a three-legged transforming unicorn.

Both games are also chock full of mini-games such as the above pictured match 3 game in Cassandra's Journey. They both also have mysteries and storylines to explore.

The kid in me is really looking forward tho these games. Of course, you don't have to really be a kid to play these...they have tons of challenges for adults. But,man, they really bring out the kid who loves to hunt and find treasure.[gallery link="file" columns="4" orderby="rand"]
