Apple Confirms International In-Store Availability For The iPad This Friday

May 25, 2010

Just in case there still were any doubts about this, Apple has just confirmed international in-store availability for the iPad this Friday on its retail web-front.

Those of you who didn't pre-order should therefore still be able to get an iPad this May 28th starting at 8am at any local Apple Store. This of course only if you're situated in one of the nine countries taking part in this week's launch. Be warned that the amounts of available units will probably be very limited. So if you really want a chance to score a device, you better wake up early or even better, camp in front of the store the entire night.

How limited will the stocks be? Well, Apple did delay the launch by an entire month to give us a "responsible launch". All indicators are however pointing at some very short stocks.
