First things first: go get the update. No excuses! It's free if you already own Pocket God. Done? Good!
Wait...you don't own Pocket God? Why not? You have an iPhone/iPod Touch, don't you? Is it the "episodes" thing that is confusing you? Afraid you have to purchase and download 32 separate updates for the game? No, no, no, no. Pocket God is one $0.99 purchase and the good folks at Bolt Creative keep coming out with free updates full of great content. This is the 31st update, Episode 32: Crack is Wack....so pay you 99 cents now and you'll never regret it.
Now what comes in this new update? The ability to create a hole to the interior of the world (though with the demonic presence in the background, it seems like a much grimmer place). Once there, the pygmy must run from the pursuing lava flow. While there you must jump over fissures, lava rocks and piles of doo (you heard me...jump over or slide through them.....eeewwwww). If you are at all familiar with Canabalt, you know what this mini-game is all about.
Also, new in the is update is a Skin Pack for the Ice Monster. Skin Packs are where Bolt Creative charges $0.99 to let you dress up the characters and places inPocket God in different ways. They have no effect on game play, whatsoever...they are just pretty...and we all like pretty, right? The Ice Monster pack has seven new looks for the what is, in my opinion, one of the toughest parts of Pocket God - fighting the Ice Monster.
You can now dress "Icey" up as a teddy bear, a robot, a Japanese robot (you know, like a Shogun Warrior), a yeti, a snowman, a stone monster (looks like a Mayan temple to me), or my favorite, a giant pink bunny. (The yeti does fling his own poo, though, so that makes him kinda cool)
