EyeTV, an iPhone application that allows EyeTV Mac and PC users to stream live and recorded TV on their mobile device, has just been updated to version 1.1.0 - and now includes iPad support.
Aside from iPad support and optimization, the update also adds a separate bitrate for WiFi, local Wifi, and 3G - along with some general stability improvements.
But don't forget: if you're interested in streaming live TV on your iDevice through the EyeTV, you need to own the Mac or PC version of the product. Sadly, owning the app isn't enough to watch TV on the go.
Both versions of the application (iPhone and iPad) are available in the App Store now. However, if you already own the iPhone version then simply updating to v.1.1.0 will add iPad support free of charge - which is definitely a bonus for current EyeTV app owners.
You can find out more about EyeTV, including information on the Mac and PC versions of the software, on the product's official website.
