iBooks For iPhone Coming? Maybe...

Already have iOS4 loaded on your iPhone and ready for iBooks? Well it looks like you may be getting your wish... or are you?
Tipster Avela13 and others are reporting being notified that iBooks is now available for download, but when they try to load it, they can't. It will try to install, fail and tell them to try iTunes instead.
The problem appears to be that Apple is updating the "iBooks for iPad" with a new universal iBooks app. The push being sent to phones is meant to start the download of the new universal app which is not yet available. Instead, phones are trying to install the iPad version, which is causing the failures.
So if you're ready for iBooks on your iPhone it looks like you'll have it soon, but probably not this morning.
