It was only a matter of time before the official ultrasn0w unlock for iPhone 3GS hit Cydia.
That time has now come, and those of you wishing to unlock your iPhone 3GS running custom iOS 4 firmware can now do so using ultrasn0w 0.92.1 thanks to the iPhone Dev Team.
Details on how to do this can be found here.
Do remember that the above instructions are only applicable for iPhone 3GS models on iOS4, with 04.26.08 baseband only. If you are on 05.11.07 baseband then you'll need to use blacksn0w RC2, the guide for which can be found here.
As always, when it comes to jailbreaking and unlocking iPhone handsets, do be careful.
