iPad Insurance Available: Better Value Than AppleCare

An online company has started offering iPad cover as an alternative to Apple's own AppleCare. The company, called SquareTrade, are currently offering 20% discount on warranty as part of their iPad Launch Special.
SquareTrade offer cover against drops and spills, unlike AppleCare. Both warranties cover 'normal use issues' - issues that shouldn't happen if you're using your iPad in a "normal" way. Apple offer the first year of this for free, and then the second year is covered as part of AppleCare which costs $99/year.
However SquareTrade are charging a mere $48/year - less than half of AppleCare's yearly fee.
SquareTrade's site seems to be very positive. They've had some great five star reviews and an A+ BBB rating, so they seem to check out pretty well. The reviews from customers available to read are also very pro-SquareTrade, such as:
Customer service was very helpful. They handled the claim fast. We had no problems. Refund was very fast as well. Highly recommend!SquareTrade seems like a good option for those of you who don't think Apple's first year no-drops-no-spills warranty is good enough. If, however, you're a case-toting user who abstains from drinking near your iPad, then maybe SquareTrade warranty is only something worth considering after your iPad's first birthday. All the info you need is available on SquareTrade's site. They've also linked a video (which you can see below) in an attempt try and persuade any iPad owners who don't think extended cover is for them. Check it out - it'll make you cringe.
