The iPhone Dev Team member, Mr. MuscleNerd, has just posted a screenshot from a jailbroken iPhone 4 on his Twitter account.
Before you get too excited though, you should note this is a preliminary "userland" jailbreak - which means it uses Apple software to work and is very easy to patch. The iPhone Dev Team will not be releasing this particular jailbreak, though a real low-level jailbreak for the iPhone 4 is on its way.
