Stanza eBook Reader Adds New Languages, Formats, and iPad Support

Who wouldn't rather read a book on their iPad than on an iPhone or iPod touch? Of course, right?  It's also great to have the option of being able to do so on any of your iDevices.  Lexcycle's acclaimed and free ebook reader, Stanza, has gained support for two new languages, three new file formats, and our beloved iPads. Stanza v3.0 now features: • iPad Support! • PDF, DjVu, and Comic Book Archive support • Turkish & Bulgarian translations In addition, the following new features are available for devices running iPhoneOS 3.2 and higher: • Transfer books via iTunes by dragging files into the "Stanza Documents" part of the "File Sharing" section at the bottom of the "Apps" tab that appears when you select your iPad from the "Devices" list in iTunes • Open books directly from web pages and e-mail attachments Stanza allows you to find and purchase thousands of books through a number of partner stores, or find free classics and recent original works available from Project Gutenberg. Have your own source for ebooks and related material? Sync them with your iDevice using iTunes (iPad only) or the free Calibre application for Mac OS X, Windows or LInux. Using Stanza on iPad keeps the same great, simple and elegant interface that you've come accustomed to on your iPhone, only it's bigger and easier to read.
