Updated Rdio App Finally Makes Its Way To App Store

After almost a month of careful deliberation, Apple's review team have finally approved a minor update to Rdio: an app that promises "unlimited access to music" when it reaches general release.
The update merely fixes a couple of bugs, and also allows the app to remember which song was playing when you close it - indeed, version 0.5 was hardly a major update. So why did Apple take so long to approve?
At the moment, we're not sure - nor are we sure that we'll ever know. There were hushed whispers of anticipated blockage of the app by Apple in light of its impending iTunes Cloud product launch, but these can now be safely shelved.
Sadly, until Rdio opens for the general public, you can't really do much with the app itself. But you can jump on Rdio's website and enter your email address to receive more info on the service once it's launched - and then, once you're a user, you can head over to iTunes and download Rdio's free app and eventually enjoy "unlimited access to music".
