Cinq Makes Photo Sharing As Easy As One, Two, Three

July 15, 2010

If you find transferring photos from your iPhone to your Mac or PC (and vice versa) to be an absolute pain, then worry no more: Cinq, an application that hit the App Store on June 19th, makes photo sharing a dream. Cinq, developed by Tunaverse, needs to be downloaded to your iPhone and computer. The application itself costs $0.99, and the Cinq server can be downloaded here. Once both are set up, you're good to go:

Cinq works by sending a full resolution copy of selected photos taken on your iPhone to your computer, effectively backing-up your photos and making photo syncing between your iPhone and computer much easier. The app works great over EDGE, 3G and Wi-Fi. You can also share photos on Facebook and Twitter (TwitPic), or even browse through and save your friends' photos too. In addition to this, you can also view the photos you've got saved on your computer, on your iPhone - meaning you're never out of touch with your personal photo library. The app currently has a pretty solid four-star rating on iTunes, with many users greatly appreciating the service Cinq offers. For $0.99, this is a great app that works brilliantly - so why not check it out in the App Store now! [Thanks to Trevor for the tip!]
