If you're an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch owner with a burning interest in fashion, then you're in luck. A new app, released a couple of days ago by
eBay, connects users with the Clothes section of eBay's site and adds a couple of other features for the fashion-obsessed fanboy (or fangirl) to play around with.
The application is called
eBay Fashion, and it's
free. But the good news doesn't end there.
Aside from allowing users to browse longingly through eBay, the app also grants users access to flash sales from the eBay Fashion Vault, through which fashion-fans have the option to buy designer brands for up to 70% off. That's right, I said
70%.
Another cool feature the application offers is the Closet. Here, users can send all the great items they come across in the app, and then may move them about and resize them to create the rough draft of a potential outfit. In addition to this, you can also use the Closet with your iPhone's camera to "try on" anything you find. This can then be shared with friends via email.
For a first version, this app works very well indeed - and a whole load of five-star reviews have been bestowed on eBay Fashion in iTunes.
