Many of you will already be aware of eBuddy, one of the many iPhone apps capable of delivering push notifications to your handset whenever somebody in the digital realm needs you. The application was released on the iOS platform way back in 2007. Since then, it has managed to push it's way up the App Store tables and into the Apple-obsessed hearts of fanboys all over the world.
Now, this brilliant app has been updated (version 4.0) to add support for multitasking under iOS 4 (iPhone 3GS and 4 only, you know the drill), and Retina display - which is obviously an iPhone 4-only perk. This means that eBuddy (both the free and pro versions) has made it onto the elusive list of Apps That Multitask, which equals good times for iPhone owners who love to run a couple of apps at once.
In addition to these great features, the update also brings new and improved connectivity to Facebook chat - something that wasn't always reliable, as many past users know.
And, what's more, if you don't feel like spending the $4.99 on eBuddy Pro, prospective users can download a free version of eBuddy for free. The only major difference between the two lies within the length of time push notifications may be received while the app is closed - with twelve hours for the free version, and seven days for the pro.
So, if you haven't already downloaded eBuddy, be sure to check it out now! And, if you're already a user, head over to the App Store on your computer or iDevice and download the latest update. Please let us know what you think of the application in the comments box below!
