Golfscape GPS Rangefinder gives you visual distance markers for up to 40 mapped targets and obstacles, including the current distance to the front, center, and back of the green.
Use the app to easily locate and calculate distances to known targets and hazards by simply launching it and allowing the app to locate your current position compared to up to 40 professionally mapped objects. Golfscape allows you to view 360º calculations in realtime with continuous updates to distance calculations.
Golfscape uses the same database from Shotzoom Software as their Golfshot: Golf GPS 2D range-mapping app, providing accurate mapping of over 35,000 golf courses worldwide.
As with a number of other early augmented reality applications, users have reported inaccuracies of 10 yards or more in certain situations using Golfscape. One of the largest downfalls of Golfscape is that it does nothing more than provide a full visual distance tool. You'll need to get a copy of Golfshot: Golf GPS or Golfshot to have your scorecard and score analysis features. Users also mention that it is a tedious process to switch between the apps.
