Jeybee, the creator of the acclaimed note-taking app Infinote for iPad, will soon unveil a new casual party game just for the iPhone 4. Flip It! utilizes the iPhone 4's gyroscope, accelerometer, and proximity sensor to create a unique new game experience for party goers of all ages. Holding the iPhone in your hand, you are instructed to perform a set of motions, which you must complete successfully to win the round. There are eight different motions that you will perform: Face your iPhone's screen up, face it down, face it to your left, face it to your right, stop moving completely, shake your iPhone, thrust your iPhone forward, or cover the front of your iPhone. Simon says." The difficulty level really amps up in later rounds, and having a case for your iPhone 4 may not be a bad idea in the unlikely scenario the player gets a little too excited. The game includes two play modes with multiple difficulty levels totaling more than thirty unique rounds. Challenge mode tests you against how quickly you can perform the given tasks all the way down to a hundredth of a second. Perform the wrong action or take too long and you will lose. Survival mode still requires you to perform the the given tasks properly and in a given time but scores you in the number of successful actions instead of how quickly you complete the set of moves. While it certainly can be a blast to play in a group of people, you can still play by yourself and challenge other players over the Internet. The app includes OpenFeint, Facebook Connect, and Twitter integration for sharing scores and challenging your friends. OpenFeint allows for awards, achievements, and leaderboards. Flip It! is set to debut in the App Store later this month and will be available for $.99.
