Hit The Fairway Again With Let's Golf! 2, Now Available In The App Store

If, you're like me, you too wasted hours and hours on the virtual fairway back when Let's Golf! was first released. You may want to stop reading this now to prevent that from happening again. Because today, the highly anticipated sequel to this brilliant golf game has just been released - and it's waiting patiently for you right now in the App Store.
Let's Golf! 2 brings wannabe-golfers eight characters to play as. The game itself takes place across 108 holes, based in 6 locations - and each location presents a series of location-specific challenges for the player to deal with.
In addition to this, each character comes with its own "super power" which can be unexpectedly executed during a game, giving the sometimes-deadpan sport a new dimension.
A multiplayer mode is also available, in which players may compete with friends through online Wi-Fi, local Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth. The developer, Gameloft, has also created an online leaderboard for players to advance through.
Yet there is a downside to Let's Golf! 2. Sadly, the current version does not support multitasking, nor does it have Retina display-optimized graphics. Personally, I find this extremely annoying - applications look beautiful when optimized for the Retina display, and I can't understand why all developers aren't adding support. And, multitasking really should be a given now, unless the game has been awaiting approval for an extremely long time. Hopefully we'll see an update arrive in the App Store soon that corrects these errors, but until then, I don't think anybody could blame you for choosing not to make the purchase. Indeed, it has resulted in the game receiving a few less-than-savory reviews in iTunes.
