Backgrounder, a jailbreak application that allows early-generation iPhones and iPod touches to efficiently multitask, has just received an update that greatly improves the effectiveness of the app.
As Ispazio reports, Backgrounder now feels more like Apple's own native multitasking. In addition to this, several issues (such as icons not appearing) have also been rectified.
Backgrounder is available in Cydia through the BigBoss repository, and the new update means that it works very well indeed. If you're stuck with an old iPhone (or iPod touch) and greatly desire the ability to multitask, be sure to check out the recently-updated Backgrounder app in Cydia now!
