VH1's Scream Queens Gets An Official iPhone App
July 26, 2010
Executive Producers Joke and Biagio of the hit VH1 reality competition show Scream Queens have decided to create an official iPhone app, VH1 Scream Queens, just in time for season two. The app is a free exclusive look into season two, as well as containing a recap of season one, and is provided as a thank you to fans for making the show a success.
For those unaware, Scream Queens season one chose ten unknown actresses to compete for the title of "Scream Queen" and an unprecedented "break-out" roll in the horror flick sequel Saw VI. Season two of the series pits the contestants against each other in a sort of horror film training situation, where they will be involved with stunts, gore, and whatever cage-rattling exercises it takes to scarify a Hollywood movie audience. Watch as contestants get "axed" for failing to prove themselves in an attempt to become a part of the upcoming Saw 3D.
The VH1 Scream Queens iPhone app allows you to let the ladies scream on your behalf, plus the ability to share your favorite screams with your friends via email. Get a sneak peak at the season two cast and judges, including bios, photos, and videos, screams, and more. Check out exclusive photo galleries of season one, season two, and more. Once the new season begins on August 2nd, you can use the app to get exclusive content after each episode. Finally, keep up with everything surrounding the industry with easy access to news, blogs, videos, and more from VH1, Lionsgate, plus Joke and Biagio.
As we continue to improve our programming skills (between producing TV shows) we plan to add support for Twitter, Facebook, and the ability to take someone's picture and "give them the axe!" (a reference to the way actresses are eliminated on our show.)Below is one of three promotional videos for VH1 Scream Queens for iPhone. Feel free to check out the "milk" and "mechanic" versions, plus the Scream Queens Season 2 Super Trailer.
