Doodle Theme And Battery Tips Corrected On Battery Go! Plus
August 31, 2010
While it isn't the biggest news of the week, the team at 9magnets were able to quickly correct the issue and restore the Doodle UI theme choice and access to the Battery Saving Tips section for iPad users of the new Battery Go! Plus.
As was mentioned less then a week ago, the small team at 9magnets, formerly CollegeKidApp.com, were able to finally release their big, and completely revamped, sequel to the hit battery statistics application Battery Go!.
Battery Go! Plus shows the estimated remaining usage time for up to fifteen different tasks, including using your iDevice as a music player, portable gaming handheld, eReader, video player, telephone, navigation assistant, and browsing the Internet. A full list is nice, but on the iPhone and iPod touch, Battery Go! Plus goes beyond just showing you about how long you can perform a given activity. By swiping left and right, you can navigate to broken down categories. These categories show the same estimates as the full list, but also provide a brief description of why these tasks use up your battery along with a couple quick tips.
Despite Battery Go! Plus being a universal app, the lack of the Battery Saving Tips section and UI theme choices were a couple of only a few things we weren't able to find consistent with the experience amongst the smaller screened iPhone and iPod touch verse the bigger brother iDevice.
Once again, my thoughts are the 9magnets team will continue to polish Battery Go! Plus, so get yourself a copy while it's still at the introductory price of only $.99.
