House Your iDevice In Style With BookBook: An iPad Case With A Difference

August 17, 2010
Well, this is definitely something very cool indeed: an iPad case called BookBook houses your beloved iDevice in style, within the sheltering arms of a mock-hardcover book cover that looks as if it belongs in the nineteenth century. As MacStories reports, the iPad case really does look quite stunning. It's clear that manufacturer, TwelveSouth, has done a brilliant job in creating something truly unique. Not only does BookBook make your iPad look like (guess what?) a book, but the case also serves as a stand which props your iDevice up in an accessible position.
Your iPad is held in the case by two soft leather corners and a soft elastic band that runs across the top of iPad. This elastic band is perfectly positioned below the invisible sensors near the top of iPad and just above the iPad viewing window. You see the full screen, all functions will work and you have access to all controls and inputs on your iPad. You’ll also find a button and string stitched into the case, which are used to transform BookBook into a display stand.
BookBook currently retails for $69.99, with free shipping (for a limited time) - so be sure to grab yours quickly! And, if you do, let us know your experience with BookBook in the comments box at the bottom of this article!
