OnMyWay - TeleNav's Free App Lets People Know Where You Are

If you've ever had to waste minutes of precious time ahead of an important meeting simply phoning to let somebody know you're "on your way," then TeleNav's latest free iPhone app is for you.
Essentially, OnMyWay does exactly what it says on the box. If you're scheduled to meet with a friend or work colleague, the app will send out your estimated time of arrival for you. Additionally, if you hit traffic or get delayed, your revised ETA will then be resent. Users don't have to worry about making a panicked call or text while driving through rush hour traffic.
Setting up the application couldn't be simpler. Users create a destination, an appointment time, and a list of contacts who need to be notified. The app does the rest for you.
OnMyWay has the potential to be a very popular app simply because of the service it offers. Even if the updates are just sent between family members (husband and wife, parent and child), the app removes the temptation to phone or text while driving, making the roads a safer place to be.
