Quanp For iPhone: Upload Media, Without The Attachment Limits

August 8, 2010

If you're loving the iPhone 4's HD video camera, but are fed-up with not being able to upload your recorded HD movies to the web, then be sure to check out quanp: an app that can do that for you, for free. Currently in its beta stage of testing, quanp (official site) allows users to do four pretty awesome things. First up, there's "Flick File" - a feature that allows quanp users to easily send files to one another, via Bluetooth. This is obviously iPhone to iPhone, and doesn't require an account. Registered users may also access three more features. Registration is free, though limited to US users throughout the beta stage of testing. However, if you're in the US, it's worth taking the time to register. Quanp will allow you to upload photos, videos, and documents to your account. It'll allow you to access your quanp account on the go. And, lastly, quanp will also allow you to send a supermassive file (up to 500MB) to anyone.

However, the downside to quanp is that it's very similar to the already established Dropbox - an app which is loved by fanboys across the globe. And, as quanp is in its early, beta stages, it would be ridiculous for me to recommend this app over Dropbox. Yet, even so, it is one to watch for the future. So, if you're living in the US, why not take a look at quanp, and see how it compares with Dropbox? And, if you do, don't forget to tell us your thoughts in the comments box below!
