Two SIM Cards, One iPhone? There's A Case For That...

August 30, 2010
It's certainly not the most beautiful iPhone 4 case out there, and there are several pretty big negatives to it, but USBFever's Duel SIM Card Cover seems to do the job well enough. The case allows iPhone 4 owners to use two SIM cards with their iDevice, without having to fiddle around with the SIM tray (potentially breaking it) and switching cards around. Instead, users clip both SIM cards into USBFever's new case, and select the number they wish to use in Settings. According to the case's site, after a couple of minutes your iPhone will find the desired network. During this time, "No SIM" will be displayed in the upper-left corner of your handset's screen. However, after this delay, things should run fine. This is an obvious downside to the duel SIM cover. Nobody wants to wait around for two minutes while their iPhone finds a network - it's a waste of time. Yet, if you need to use two SIM cards with your iPhone, then you can hardly moan - because this case provides a service Apple doesn't. The cover is currently retailing at $28.99, and it's compatible with all current iPhone 4 firmware versions (iOS 4.0.0, 4.0.1, 4.0.2). USBFever is dedicated to providing a compatibility list, so if you're thinking of purchasing the cover, be sure to first read through the online documentation. Think this duel SIM cover might help you? Be sure to check it out now. And, if you do purchase one, let us know your experiences in the comments box below! Thanks to iSpazio (Google Translate) for spotting this. [gallery]
