Remember Sean Kovacs' GV Mobile application, which we told you about a few days ago? Apple's new, revised approval process means previously banned apps, such as GV Mobile, could be allowed back into the App Store. Kovacs confirmed this himself via Twitter, and since then many have been waiting for the app to be resubmitted.
Yesterday, Kovacs sent GV Mobile back to Apple's approval team in the hopes that they'll give it the thumbs up. Speaking through Twitter once again, Kovacs (@seankovacs) simply posted the word: submitted.
If Kovacs' app complies with all 110+ of Apple's new guidelines, it should be available in the App Store for $2.99 very soon. However, Kovacs has stated that the app will be free for the first 12 hours following its release, so you'll have to be quick if you want to catch the app for free!
A series of other changes have also been made to the app, which you can check out below:
New name: GV Mobile +
Landscape mode
Hi-res graphics
New app icon
We'll be posting as soon as GV Mobile hits the App Store, so be sure to check back with the news team at AppAdvice (@AppAdvice) for regular updates! And, be sure to let us know whether or not you'll be purchasing GV Mobile in the comments below! Thanks to 9to5Mac for spotting this.
